NP241 Rear Shaft Upgrade - Flange
This is a complete kit designed specifically for the NP241C Chevy Transfer Case. Unlike modified or "hack and tap" solutions, this kit includes a new 32-spline rear output shaft, a fresh seal retainer with seal, and a compatible output flange. The flange is versatile and works with 1310, 1350, and 1410 series driveshafts. Importantly, the bearing hub is positioned accurately, eliminating the need for a spacer, unlike other kits that may compromise bearing alignment.
Key Features:
- New Output Shaft: Built from scratch, not a modified part.
- Universal Output Flange: Compatible with multiple driveshaft types and sizes.
- Precision Bearing Positioning: No spacer needed, allowing for even load on the rear output bearing.
- Standard Output Flange: Uses a readily available flange, no custom or shortened yokes required.
- Speedometer Compatibility: Retains the original speedometer housing.
- Shortened Output Shaft: Reduces the overall length by an impressive 5 inches.
- High-Strength Flange: Features a 32-spline design with a 2-inch centering pilot, offering both 2.5" x 2.5" and 3" x 3" bolt patterns with 7/16" NF threaded holes. Includes four bolts and lock washers.
For ease, you can measure for your driveshaft length without installing the SYE first. Check out our installation guide for step-by-step instructions on how to measure before setup.
